Hey Kris.. I love reading all the comments about you :) I do this quite often actually. It helps me feel closer to you, and reminds me of all the good memories we have together. I wish you were here.. I still think about you everyday. I talk to Jordan about you all the time :) He really would have loved you. We live in your basement, and your parents are so kind to us. I like living here, I feel very safe when Jordan is gone. I watched the Victoria Secret Fashion Show the other night... I couldn't help but think of you and all those years we would lock ourselves in my room and watch it :) Keep watching over me, and if you wouldn't mind, also keep an eye on Jords ha. Hey Kristan,
I've been thinking about you and your family a lot lately. I even saw your mom at the grocery store the other day but I couldn't bring myself to say anything. I always admired your free spirit and ability to talk to people. I missed your funeral because I was out of the country but I felt your absence from Uganda. We were never that close but the absence of someone that has grown up with you and been right there in your same grade, same school sharing experiences, friends and most of all sharing your unique spirit with the world around you was deeply felt. Your life and death on this earth taught me a lot about love and cherishing the time we have here. I'm sorry we didn't talk much in high school but one of my earliest memories of you was when you were in the 13th ward. Your mom was the achievement day leader and you told us the story of how your mom lost her finger on that swinging door. I remember your cool spiral staircase outside we would run up and down. I also remember you laughing a lot when you were in our ward. I could never understand why, but you would just laugh. Your sister came into our little primary class during one of our lessons and you guys were just joking and laughing at an inside joke or something she said. That was a good example to me, after that I tried to have that type of relationship with my own sister-a close and happy one. It was a good lesson. That memory and example has stuck with me for all these years. A recent memory was when you and Amber were in a make-up seminary class with me. I kept to myself a lot but you didn't mind, you still talked to me and complimented me on occasion and I was impressed and grateful for that. You lived it up here on earth with your easy laughter and personality! I just wanted to take the time to celebrate some of the memories I have of your life with you. Sorry they are so late, wish I could have told you in person that I love you and your family, thanks for your laughter and warmth.

Julianne, Mark, and family ... I have thought so often about you in the past two months. I am so grateful I had the privilege of meeting Kristan. What a vibrant soul! From the comments and slideshow, it's obvious that she enjoyed mortality to the fullest and was a shining light to everyone she met. How much joy she must be bringing to all of her relatives and ancestors in the Spirit World! And I'm sure she is never far from all of you, praying for you and pulling for you. The hardest part of temporary physical separation from those you love so dearly is not being able to pick up the phone and check in. I pray everyday that my parents will know how much I miss them and love them. Please know that my heart,thoughts, and prayers have been with you all summer and continue to be. You are an amazing family, and like Kristan, such an example to everyone in so many ways. The Lusvardi smile must be famous -- it certainly brings happiness just thinking about it! (Does Julianne ever NOT smile?! She's so beautiful, just like Kristan.) Please know of my love and appreciation for all of you. I spent some time with Kristan in high school, and have some wonderful memories with her. I will always remember Kristan, and miss her dearly! Nothing but smiles and good times when we hung out. I CAN'T EVEN EXPLAIN WHAT I FEEL IN MY HEART RIGHT NOW BUT I'LL TRY! I REMEMBER I WENT TO THE SAME HIGH SCHOOL WITH KRISTAN. SHE ALWAYS HAD THE SWEETEST SPIRIT AND WAS ALWAYS SMILING! I WAS A TRANSFER TO THAT SCHOOL AND SHE MADE ME FEEL SO WELCOME!! I'M STILL TRYING TO WRAP MY HEAD AROUND THE FACT THAT SHE IS NO LONGER WITH US. Dear Lusvardi Family,

Our deepest feelings of grief are with you today as we have learned of the death of Kristan. I only wish we had known yesterday and we would have been able to attend her funeral.

It is wonderful to know that families can be united forever through the sealing power of the temple. I am sure Kristan's Great-Grandma Ruby, Jay Tyler, Grandma Bezzant, my mother, and many others are rejoicing in her arrival.

We love you and our sincerest prayers are with each of you for the comfort you may need in the coming days.

haa i remember this time for easter we went riding and we stopped at the bathrooms to talk to this guy who was ther haha and these old man and lady came crusining up in a weird jeep thing music blastin and got out to hang out with us kay didnt even know them but she jumped into the drives seat and told them how awesome the car was she found a girl sticker and shved it in her shirt and was like OH MY GOSH I WANT THIS hahaso they were like ok? keep it hahahaha i feakin love her she brought joy onto so many ppls lives and she will always be the best friend that i have ever had i love you kay.

I have the pleasure of being Kristan's grandmother. After reading these wonderful comments from friends and relatives, I would like to thank all of you for the kind words you have written to the family. She's a very special girl, and is much loved by those who knew her. She touched so many lives with joy for someone so young, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We are so thankful that we have had her in our lives to bring us smiles and laughter throughout her life, and it is a huge loss for us, but we will look forward to seeing her again. We know that she is in good hands, and all is well with her. Thank you so much for your support of the family.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Kristan was a wonderful girl, i remember Chemistry when she wanted to be called Ruby, and she went by Ruby that whole year. We had an experement with fire and she was so excited when the flame changed color with the different chemicals on the rods. She lite up any room she walked into. She will be greatly missed. I will keep you in my prayers

Lusvardi Family - Since both of us have moved out of the 13th Ward we don't see you very often but know that our love and prayers are sent your way. We knew Stephan and Loran a little better then Kristan, but I can tell from all these wonderful comments that she is as awesome as they are. The Lord will sustain you this week and for many more to come. We know you are strong, but that pain in your heart is so real. We weep with you.

We will be out of town this weekend and are very sorry we will miss the viewing and "farewell". Our thoughts and prayers will be with your entire family.

I came to know Kristan when the Lusvardis moved to Vintage. She used to ride her scooter in front of my house almost every sunny day. I remember how kind she was to my son and would often let him tag along with her on his scooter, which he loved. She always had such a sweet, genuine demeanor, and a big, beautiful smile that shined from the inside out. The last time I saw Kristan was at a late movie. I went with my husband in my pajamas with sopping, wet hair, not thinking I would run into anyone I knew. I was a little embarrassed when I saw her, she always looked so cute, she laughed about it with me and gave me a hug after we chatted for a few minutes. I'm sure there are thousands, if not millions of little happy experiences people had with her. She was a blessing, even to those who knew her just a little. It was always nice to see her.

I am thankful for the moments I got to experience Kristan and her smiles and will remember her that way. We pray for peace and comfort for the Lusvardi family.

Dear Lusvardi Family, I sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter! She will be greatly missed at school,I remember one time at school I was in the Color bar and I saw Kay run to the color bar look at me and go I need help with this hair cut, I walked around the color bar and walked to Kay's client and helped her out... She always had a great BIG smile on her face!! The very last time i saw kay was in Mindys office me and a friend where talking to Mindy and Kay walked in to get her "leave" stuff put together so she could go on the trip, Jaymie said something about how Kays shirt was super cute and Kay smiled and said i got it from Ross!! It was really cute how she responded and then further said that she was going On a cruise with her family and how excited she was... I didnt know Kay really well but the experience's that i have had with her at school with my client and her client where really awesome!! She is so sweet and kind!! I hope all is well she will always be watching over your guys..
